Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing. It is a psychotherapy treatment that has been extensively researched and proven effective to help millions of people of all ages recover from both PTSD and C-PTSD and the problems they cause, like flashbacks, upsetting thoughts or images, hypervigilance and other symptoms.

Mental Health Support

Alongside EMDR Therapy, I can also offer support and advice with regards to other aspects of your mental health. I can advise regarding brief interventions you can utilise in between sessions to support your mental health and wellbeing.

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse and EMDR Therapist. 

I also have additional training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Brief Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Brief Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.

Who am I?

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) & a EMDR Therapist.

I have worked in acute psychiatry since 2012, with people in hospital and with people managing their mental health at home. 

In 2022, I moved from the NHS to the education sector and now work with 17+ year olds, who struggle with distress, trauma and have experienced sexual violence. 

I am based on the border of Cambridge & Suffolk, however I only offer online sessions at the moment.
